Capsule Meal Planning has made our dinner times so much more manageable. We are able to get really healthy food in us each night even with crazy nights filled with afterschool activities. As an only parent of 3 this system has saved us.

I started making capsule meals after I fell in love with a minimalist capsule wardrobe. I started creating menus for the week by starting with a protein and a carb and creating meals around it. You can find Menu 1 here. Menu 1 was a meal plan for chicken as the main protein. Week 2 has ground beef as the main protein. This is designed so that you can use a menu based on what is on sale for the week, cravings and so you can create meals for the week based on what you have on hand.

Monday: Spaghetti Bolognese and zucchini

Tuesday: Tacos

Wednesday: Stuffed Bell peppers

Thursday: Sloppy Joes and salad

Friday: Pizza

Saturday: Pasta e Fagioli

Sunday: Shephards Pie

    This is awesome, quick meals and shopping list easy peasey, great for busy moms that don’t want the dreaded ” What’s for dinner?” every day. I now have my menu and shopping list for the week.
